Do you want to roll a new character in World of Warcraft? Man, I know that this really can be a frustrating experience. I’ve leveled several characters to 80 by myself and I know the pain. This is why I want to help you level a bit faster with my hunter leveling guide.
The first step is to get a proven, effective leveling talent spec. My hunter leveling guide highly recommends you to spec the beast mastery talent spec. Here are some advantages of Beast Mastery:
Your pet will be a great tank so you will avoid melee combat yourself.
You are not dependant on abilities that cost a lot of mana, so you can avoid lots of mana recovery breaks.
You won’t require great gear to deal a lot of damage. A great part of the damage will be done by your pet.
But the probably most important aspect of leveling a Beast Master Hunter is this. Leveling your hunter will feel like you’re on autopilot. You won’t need a fancy attack rotation. Just give your pet the attack order, wait a second, activate auto-attack and there you go. I have yet to find another class which is able to level to smoothly and easy.
The next advice I want to give you in my hunter leveling guide is about the way you gather experience.
Avoid grinding mobs! In the early days of WoW many players used grinding as an effective way of leveling their characters. Now, these times are long gone. Blizzard adjusted the amount of exp you get for completing a quest and you will level up significantly faster if you “grind” quests instead of mobs.
Don’t try to farm exp in instances. Even if you have a level 80 guild mate to pull you through every instance in the game – try to focus on farming loot and gear instead of experience. The gear will give you a huge advantage but as soon as you have the gear leave the instance.
This is what leveling a WoW hunter is all about. I hope you enjoyed my leveling strategy and I wish you lots of fun leveling your hunter to level 80!
